The School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS) at New England College seeks part-time faculty to teach in a variety of disciplines including:

  • Accounting
  • Forensic Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Human Resource Management
  • Organizational Development
  • Sports Administration
  • Real Estate
  • Health Informatics
  • Statistics
  • Data Analytics
  • Marketing
  • Strategic Planning

Management graduate courses are offered online or hybrid in Henniker, Southern Maine, and/or New Hampshire. Fall courses start at the end of August.



Essential Duties Summary
  • Engage all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes.
  • Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback.
  • Coach struggling students toward success.
  • Teach from approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
  • Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive conduct with students and by getting in touch with, and offering assistance to absent students.
  • Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.
  • Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.


Required Qualifications
  • Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimum supervision.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Blackboard and the Internet.
  • Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level is essential.
  • An earned masters degree in a business discipline with either 18 hours in the discipline for which you are applying or professional certification and experience relevant to the discipline.

  • An earned doctorate degree in a business discipline with either 18 hours in the discipline for which you are applying or professional certification and experience relevant to the discipline.
