What we’re looking for:

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
• 3 or more years of demonstrated skill through previous work experience and submitted work samples in Grant Development, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be flexible in hours and work locations (across greater service area) to accommodate the needs of Career Services programs and services and Goodwill.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Must have strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
• Must take initiative, be a team player, be organized, meet deadlines and have the desire to develop and pursue grant activity throughout the year.
• Must have self-direction, prioritizing and organizational skills

Preferences:

• Experience with donor/grant management software is a plus.
• Prior military experience

As a Grant Development Specialist, you will Identify, develop, and secure third-party grant funding under the guidance of the Grant Development Director, in support of the mission of Goodwill of North Georgia and Career Services.
