Job Summary

We are looking for a Graphics Commercialization and Print Quality Manager to join the GoGo squeeZ Marketing Department as part of our award-winning Creative Services Team. This role will focus on the development, execution and commercialization of printed packaging graphics to deliver high quality, visually aesthetic and consistent packaging graphics for the GoGo squeeZ brand.


The Graphics Commercialization and Print Quality Manager will be pivotal in maintaining the equity of our brand by leading the development, execution and commercialization of our packaging graphics. Under direction of the Head of Creative Services, you will be responsible for managing processes across prepress suppliers, print-ready artwork development and printed material. You will attend the first production run for artwork approval, color match and standards setting across substrates including various films and paperboards. You will also develop and operationalize a Print Quality program to establish print and color standards and ensure tolerances are met across suppliers and substrates, translating to consistent equity of our product on shelf.


The Graphics Commercialization and Print Quality Manager will come to deeply understand our brand, customers, consumers, suppliers and portfolio of products to optimize and protect the consistency of our packaging graphics. You will work cross functionally with your counterpart, Graphic Designer – Packaging, as well as internal and external partners such as Brand Managers, Procurement Managers and prepress suppliers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier prepress development and approval for print-ready technical files
  • Attend first production runs for artwork approval and standards setting
  • Develop and operationalize a Standards Setting and Print Quality program to maintain design integrity and branding consistency through standardization and tolerances
  • Engage in review and discussion around existing and new print technology and applications
  • Influence innovation pipeline with new technology solutions and co-create delivery plans
  • Provide education to internal departments around the graphics commercialization process
  • Analyze and measure effectiveness of graphics packaging production processes and develop and implement continuous improvement process and workflow improvements
  • Supervise printability trials and on-press production approvals across various substrates
  • Manage supplier performance around production artwork development
  • Maintain artwork repositories, color standards, proofs, and print samples
  • Identify and implement technologies to support graphics commercialization initiatives
  • Partner with private label brands to insure alignment with production and timelines
  • Collaborate cross functionally across brand, supply chain, procurement and project teams to align plans and timing, ensuring flawless end-to-end delivery of packaging graphics
  • Collaborate with prepress and print suppliers to ensure successful on-time launch

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally Print Management, Design or Prepress
  • 3-5 years experience in a technical graphics commercialization, packaging design, graphics communication or print management role; CPG experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of print production processes (Gravure, Offset, Flexographic)
  • Proficient in analysis, problem solving, communication, presentation, and project management
  • Deep understanding of color management and ability to see color
  • Practical knowledge of translating artwork into printed packaging, applying print knowledge to devise creative solutions, color matching and final on-press approval
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and project planning skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally to support business objectives
  • Ability to understand, summarize and effectively communicate complex technical information to cross-functional and leadership teams as it applies to business objectives
  • Physical & Travel Requirements: Must be able to work for 8 hours a day; some time spent on feet; 10-50% travel (print production runs, store visits, team outings)
  • Not a remote position

COMPENSATION: $60,000-$80,000/year
