Job Description:

1. Managing day to day plant operations at BabylonHQ:

• Ensure that all BabylonHQ micro-farms are clean, functional and full of plants
• Organizing Growth Trials in a Controlled Environment
• Executing Trials (Seeding, planting, harvesting, and cleaning)
• Data Collection (Yields, density, plant health, issues etc.)

2. Ensuring plant success for all Babylon customers

• Overall owner of Horticultural remote management
• Help Customer Success team with diagnosing and solving plant growth issues at customer sites
• Monitor dashboards and create and update tickets to pre-emptively address farm issues
• Run and update Customer Water quality index by arranging samples with water quality lab
• With time, build out support materials and guides to train non-Hort team members

3. Researching nutritional and health benefits of different crop varieties and creating content to support marketing collateral.

4. Hardware and software feedback - as an operator of our Micro-Farms consistent feedback will be essential in helping the engineering team to improve the user experience.

Experience Requirements:

4-year degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, or a related field. At least 1 year of hydroponic or vertical farming experience is required. Experience managing plant trials using scientific methods and accurate data collection is helpful. Plant cultivation, preferably in controlled environments. Customer success/support experience is a plus.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
