We’re looking for an amazing Coordinator, Guest Entertainers professional to fill this role, which is based in our Santa Clarita office. You’ll be responsible for Hiring and scheduling Folkloric Shows. Responsible for the VIF (Voyage information form) Markview Invoicing system for Guest Entertainer Dept.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring destination focused in port talent from all regions around the world. Responsible for all logistics for Wayport/Folkloric Shows. Overall responsible for accurate spend against $1.2M budget for destination entertainment.
  • Updates Voyage Information Form and HOST for all Guest Entertainers.
  • Creates coastwise clearance letters for all Guest Entertainers disembarking in a US port.
  • Responsible for all travel logistics associated with guests of Guest Entertainer program including Reviews Guest Entertainer booking forms to ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Audits and codes invoices for Markview
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate Approved Recording List.
  • Responsible for updating demographic information to assist with overall deployment decisions for Guest Entertainer Schedule.
  • Reviews Guest Entertainer booking forms to ensure information is current and accurate.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry (specifically travel and tourism). Interest in cultural studies.
  • Understanding of talent booking and communication with agencies and talent professionals.
  • Cruise line operations preferred but not required
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other web-based applications.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations with effective written and oral communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver multiple concurrent projects
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
  • Strong decision-making experience, critical thinking, cost/benefit analysis, using logic and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $42,203.20 to $ 56,992.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
