This is an entry level job no prior experience is required. We will train the right candidate. You will be working in a not for profit thrift store. We sell a broad range of items but mostly furniture. Your main duties will required you to unload furniture from trucks and load furniture for customers daily. You will also have to provide customer service,Clean,assemble and merchandise products and take payments at the cash register. You will need to be able to lift up 75lbs( with help and proper equipment), Be friendly and professional.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following.
Donation pick up assistant
1. Ride along in company truck to pick up donated materials from donor homes. (Furniture, appliances, household goods and building materials).
2. Unload and merchandise items for sale in our store. ( Assemble, Repair, Clean and test items as needed).
3. Other duties as assigned by store management.
Applicants Must,
Have a clean driving record and valid license to be considered for advancement.
Pass a criminal/sex offender background check
Pass a drug test
Must be 18 years or older
Cashier/store associate/warehouse loader.
1 - Customer service.

Assist customers and ensure they have a great shopping experience. Answer questions, explain and enforce store policy. Assist customers and donors in loading / unloading of merchandise.
2 – Merchandising
Assist staff and volunteers to prepare appropriate space for incoming items. Unload incoming shipments Clean,Test,Price and facilitating the logical and attractive display of merchandise.
3 – Cashier
Running cash register, accurately completing cash and credit card transactions.
4 – Volunteer assistance
Supervise and facilitate utilization of volunteers.
Help volunteers sign up for work, check-in/out on computer if necessary.
5–Routine cleaning–
Assist with overall store cleanliness.
6 – Administration assistance
-*Make in-store promotional signs, price tags,Complete markdowns, research prices etc. as needed.*
The candidate must pass
-Criminal Background Check.
-Sexual Offender Check
-Drug test.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
