Handyman Job at Coastal Vacation Rentals
Vacation Rental Company looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of vacation rental properties. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the vacation rental properties in the best possible condition.
Tuesday though Saturday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and prioritize work orders
- Obtain parts and other materials
- Complete work orders
- Process completed work orders for payment
- Complete the daily service log
- Maintain the service van in a safe and orderly manner
- Provide service as needed for our guests
- Support the team and company as needed
- Fill in for absent teammates
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Locks: Install, repair and program Kaba locks, replace master cylinders, manage updates at properties
- Plumbing: Repair or rebuild a toilet, repair a clogged drain, Repair or replace a faucet, Repair or replace a disposer
- Electrical: Identify and resolve breaker of GFI issues, replace light bulbs, replace light fixtures and ceiling fans
- Walls and trim: Patching and painting for touch up, repairs and single rooms
- Internet/Cable: Identify and resolve internet and cable issues with Hargray and Spectrum systems
- Appliances: common maintenance and repair issues with kitchen appliances
- HVAC: Filter changes as needed, assist guests with understanding thermostats
- Smoke and CO2 alarms: Assess and install smoke detectors, replace batteries, record activity
- Propane grills: Replace tanks as needed, repair and replace grills as needed
- Pressure washing: Limited pressure washing as needed
- Building maintenance at our office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- On call
- Weekend availability

- Hilton Head Island, SC 29928: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
