Demonstrates aptitude in maintenance and custodial procedures. 4. Have knowledge of energy conservation and management.RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Establishes and administers schedules and procedures for the custodial care of the school and grounds.2.
Establishes and administers a program of maintenance for the school plant, facilities and grounds.3. Screens, hires, trains, evaluates new employees. 4. Performs job responsibilities consistent with board policies.
5. Inspects and maintains fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers and safety equipment on a regular basis. 6. Maintains an inventory and buys suitable supplies, tools and equipment7.
Assists the board and principal with custodial and maintenance budget preparation. 8. Work as needed during emergency situations. 9.
Reports violation of life safety codes to the principal when they occur.10. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the principal and/or Superintendent.
