What you will learn and contribute to

As a member of the People and Places (P&P) Leadership Team, the successful candidate will have full financial responsibility of the Americas P&P market portfolio. You will act as the primary contact and accountable person for all People and Places matters towards Nokia stakeholders in the Americas market. You and your market team will partner with the P&P Location Strategy & Portfolio Management team to create a property strategy in line with Nokia business objectives. Successful implementation of workplace projects and solutions will also require you to create strong partnerships with our P&P group of collaborators and service providers. Active partnerships with the wider P&P Leadership Team, CPO organization, Corporate Functions, and our business stakeholders will also be critical to success in this role.

  • Lead P&P market organization, including teams responsible for operations, project delivery, change management, vendor management, and program office.
  • Ensure that global People and Places strategy is translated into market/region objectives and implementation plans
  • Develop and manage market P&P budget; ensure accurate planning of costs
  • Ensure implementation of appropriate corporate governance to cover all People & Places activities within the Market
  • Accountable for high quality and consistent business case preparation and recommendation on P&P solutions and investments
  • Responsible for People & Places market collaborator delivery and KPI evaluation in line with function responsible; assist global functions in preparation of collaborator strategies
  • Instruct and provide guidance for Area Managers on implementing one-off projects which involve collaborator participation
  • Responsible for P&P related regional data, including accuracy and reporting of same
  • Provide regional People and Places performance information, reports and analysis to P&P LT and Nokia business leaders in market, contributing to global executive reviews

Your skills and experience

You have the following qualifications:

  • Strong ability to communicate across multiple levels within the organization, including the executive level
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, offering mentoring, guidance, and direction
  • Results driven individual with experience managing complexity across a diverse set of environments
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to influence leadership regarding proposed strategies
  • Possesses both a strategic and execution mindset, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Continuously meets strict deadlines, while requiring others to do the same, and motivates team to produce high quality deliverables
  • Superior writing and interpersonal skills; Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Real Estate, or equivalent practical experience
    Work experience of 12 years in a relevant field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other relevant technologies
