HCA Solutions is currently seeking qualified candidates as Health Care Technician in support of our Veterans in the VA Health Health System, Pittsburgh, PA.

VA business hours run 24/7. A typical shift could be 8.5 hours with 1/2 unpaid lunch. Positions will be contract with yearly extensions up to five years.

Currently seeking to fill Evening and Overnight shifts.

HEALTH CARE TECHNICIANS:

The Health Care Technician is an allied health professional who provides direct care to patients with or without the supervision of registered nurses. The Healthcare Technician's primary position is to assist medical staff complete tasks around their assigned unit or clinic's and accommodate patient needs.

Health Care Technicians Must:

• Be a certified nursing assistant and possess comparable certification in a related healthcare field including; medical assistant, paramedic or emergency medical technician which includes Phlebotomy
• Have documented training and skills verification
• Be trained and experienced in patient care
• Have at least one-year experience working in direct patient care; ambulatory or emergency care preferred
• Be capable of providing nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients

• Must Provide a CURRENT, DETAILED Resume showing all relevant experience to include all Phlebotomy experience
• Provide Current BLS/CPR Certification

• Provide a Current 2-Step TB Test, within the past year
• Proof of current proof of vaccinations, to include Covid
• Must be willing to complete a Fingerprint Background
