Location: Guardian Angels Care Center - Elk River, MN
The Health Unit Coordinator assists residents and nursing personnel by performing clerical duties necessary on the assigned nursing unit including arranging resident appointments, transportation, filing, answering telephones and transcribing physician orders.

Job Summary:
- Coordinates clerical services on assigned nursing stations.
- Acts as point of service contact for residents and visitors at nursing stations.
- To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents.
- Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
- All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations.
- Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA.
Schedule:
- Part Time, working 27 Hours every 2 Weeks.
- Week day Schedule, Wednesday 10AM - 6PM
- Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday), 10AM - 4PM
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Health Unit Coordinator program or prior experience.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Detail oriented, accurate.
- Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
