Intelligent Technology seeks a qualified Tier II Technician (Help Desk) to join our US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) team in Fort Detrick, MD.

Provide technical help desk support, including Tier II and III sustainment support for various types of IT equipment, software, and peripheral equipment such as desktops, monitors, keyboards, mice, laptop/notebook computers, cell and "smartphones" and related equipment.

  • Provide Tier II support, including remote and on-site support (visit the user's office), .to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, or printer problems.
  • Provide Tier III support, including troubleshooting complex issues and problems regarding software, hardware, and printers.
  • Install, update, support, and maintain the current MS 365 operating environment, including patching and upgrades of user systems
  • Ensure that all devices installed in Active Directory have complete and accurate information at all times.
  • Ensure that all devices received and issued to users are accurately tagged with user information and the device's status.
  • Create and maintain a Standard Operating Guide to ensure adequate information to perform daily operations.

Minimum Education:

Have at least six (2) years of experience managing all aspects of help desk support, including Tier II and III sustainment support for various types of IT equipment, software, and peripheral equipment such as desktops, monitors, keyboards, mice, laptop notebooks computers, cell and "smartphones" and related equipment.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

  • IAT Level II required - CompTIA Security+
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS:

  • CCNA / CompTIA A+/ CCENT / CCNP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.75 - $32.76 per hour
