Henson Building Materials is searching for a full time Millwork Specialist for our Black Mountain, NC, location. Henson’s provides the highest quality home building materials, hardware, doors and windows to contractors and homeowners throughout Buncombe County and Western North Carolina.

The Millwork Specialist position requires in depth knowledge of windows and doors, along with an understanding of all Millwork production and application. Good communication and sales skills are required to meet the demanding needs of today's builders and consumers.

• Produce quality takeoffs and quotes on a timely and consistent basis
• Maintain broad knowledge of specialty millwork products including but not limited to windows, interior and exterior doors, moldings
• Make job site visits to new and existing construction to field measure new and existing windows and doors
• Be organized and communicate well with customers and fellow associates
• Maintain a clean work space

Experience, Education and Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship .
• Must have computer knowledge and skills
• Requires physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs at one time
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must have a clean driving record

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

• Frequent sitting and tasks involving repetitive motions using wrists, hands and fingers.
• Frequent walking or standing is required.
• Occasionally lift, carry and push up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Bend, stoop, or squat to floor level.
• Reach overhead to grasp materials.
• Climb ladders.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
