- The Lead Toddler Teacher Requires minimum 1 to 2 years of Lead Toddler Teacher experience and must be energetic, outgoing, and interactive with the children while creating a fun and positive environment. Responsibilities include the safety, care, and education of the preschool children enrolled in the center and will demonstrate competency in these areas and others:
- Assist with planning and implementing curriculum and designing the indoor and outdoor learning environments based upon knowledge of child development, best practices and individualized instruction.
- Observing, documenting, and assessing children’s growth and overall development
- Implementing, facilitating, and supervising age and developmentally-appropriate, culturally sensitive learning activities.
- Planning and implementing positive guidance strategies designed to meet the individual needs of the children in care; supporting positive child outcomes; teach and participate in positive assistance in potty-training, open and professional communication with co-workers, managers, and families.
- Build and sustain warm, responsive, and positive relationships with all children and their families to create a welcoming environment.
