Our Waterville office has a full-time position available for a Home Care Administrative Coordinator!

JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate the scheduling and care of all registered nurse (RN) clients by working and communicating closely with the assigned RN case managers, Home Care Compliance Coordinator, and Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain up to date schedules for all RN’s.
  • Coordinate schedule changes.
  • Enter visit frequency orders for all plans of care (POC) re-certifications and schedule.
  • Manage electronic visit verification errors daily.
  • Manage and ensure correction of schedule visit status report daily.
  • Coordinate new referrals with RN’s, referral department, and Care Coordinating Agencies.
  • Review incoming referral paperwork for accuracy and consistency.
  • Track and follow up on all RN referrals.
  • Assign new clients in electronic medical record system and coordinate first RN visits and schedule.
  • Initiate client contact within 24 hours of referral received, verify all information with client, welcome them and let them know when they can expect to hear from their RN.
  • Verify weekly billing spreadsheet.
  • Verify/check service orders.
  • Manage and process service changes; Notify client of changes in service or charges.
  • Respond to client inquiries.
  • Special projects as requested.
  • Other duties, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a home health, high volume call center or staffing environment is a plus.

PHONE/COMPUTER SKILLS: Professional phone skills; working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
