Home Delivery Specialist Job at Tempur Sealy
Job Summary: Home Delivery Specialist (HDS) team collaborates with our Logistics & Home Delivery (HD) partners, Tempur Retail Stores, Direct Sales Associates, and Consumer Care functions to manage HD communication with our end consumers. Communication includes order status, delivery expectations, special delivery requirements, and troubleshooting support. The focus of our team is to build a world-class operation and enable everyone to do the best work of their lives. This is a work in office position at the Lexington office.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:
- Work in a team environment to provide high quality service to customers
- Collaboration with Internal and external partners on home delivery related matters
- Provide accurate tracking of all customer orders.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to home delivery
- Special Projects as needed
Required Behaviors: The Home Delivery Specialist must exhibit a positive customer-focused attitude, a willingness to go above and beyond to resolve all customer issues, and a sense of urgency to address and resolve customer issues. The HDS must be excellent in working cross-functionally to problem-solve for the right solution. The HDS must fully understand the brand experience and passionately advocate for the customer to ensure that customers continue to receive exceptional service throughout their home delivery experience.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Experience in customer service or order fulfillment/management preferred
- Zendesk ticketing system and Microsoft AX experience preferred
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:Fast-paced corporate office environment. Some stress may occur. Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled projects such as program rollouts may be necessary.
