WE PAY HHA's WEEKLY ON FRIDAY!
We're looking for compassionate and reliable home health aides to help with activities of daily living for our patients in West Detroit. Our patients need help with household tasks, activities of daily living, and standby assistance. They are flexible with the shift start time but prefer late morning. You will be able to coordinate a time that works for both you and the patients with the oversite of the case manager.
Requirements:- Provide health care services in patient's residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Skills
- Proven working experience as home health aide
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license
- High school degree
