About Our Search
We are in search of a Lead Stager for our fast-growing Home Staging division. Our next Stager will understand the creative aspect behind staging homes as much as the marketing component. We are looking for a candidate who has a flexible schedule, reliable transportation and great project management skills to exceed our company goals. Our next team member will have excellent communication and design abilities with the right mix of innovation, passion, creativity and management skills.
About the Position
We stage mostly in Portland & Vancouver, but our territory expands from the Oregon Coast to Hood River and from Eugene as far north as Olympia. This position is often very physical as you will be climbing steps, hanging art and walking quite a bit during prep and installation. This is a great opportunity to become part of a quickly growing business and expand your design and staging career.
- Facilitate meetings with clients to establish the scope of work, budget, schedule requirements, client goals and design objectives of projects.
- Work individually and as part of a team to stage homes for a myriad of clients including realtors, developers and home owners.
- Develop creative, on-trend design plans that effectively communicate design concepts.
- Select art, accessories, furniture and decor for projects.
- Help maintain warehouse and inventory organization.
- Conduct administrative tasks to keep accurate project and accounting records.
- Coordination with third party vendors (Truck movers, contractors, and others) for the client activity execution.
- Effective communication with clients and staff on phone and emails.
- Scheduling appointment for staging and De-Staging jobs with clients and updating calendar.
- Occasional shopping for new inventory and office supplies while adhering to a budget.
- Managing Inventory, organization, and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Occasional assembly of furniture.
- Ability to assist in lifting & moving furniture, rugs, lamps etc. and running errands.
- Administrative work and Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Reliable transportation is a must, as this position involves visiting client’s homes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Owner and/or Operations Manager.
About You
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, etc. You will be helping move furniture in this position and must be able to do so.
- Flexible schedule during busy and/or slow seasons.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong creative aptitude & business acumen.
- A strong desire to excel and go above and beyond what is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Acute awareness of deadlines and deliverables.
- Reliable transportation (required).
- Previous design experience or a natural eye for design, space and composition with a strong attention to detail is required.
- Able to use Google Drive, Excel, Word and Social media management.
- Phone skills, who can communicate effectively with staff and clients with ease and approaches all challenges with a positive, can-do attitude.
