We have a HomeworkCoach/Executive Function Coach/Tutor opening in Stone Mountain, GA working with a 7th grader with ADHD. You will help them stay organized organized to complete assignments on time. You'd meet in-person once or twice per week at the student's home face-to-face for one hour.
A homework coach is like a tutor but the focus is more on organization and building study skills than focusing on a particular subject. A Bachelor's Degree and experience working with middle schoolers or high schoolers is preferred. We have developed helpful HomeworkCoach training materials. Read about us at homeworkcoach.com.
We expect to pay you $40/hr, depending on your qualifications. We'd ideally hire someone with experience tutoring, teaching or mentoring teens with ADHD and anxiety.
We pride ourselves on being really easy to work with; the only paperwork is to sign our contractor agreement, then you report your hours online and we pay twice a month. HomeworkCoach has now served more than 8,500 students since our incorporation in Georgia in January 2002. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
