A Central Ohio Community Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Clinical Informaticist to be an asset in the optimization of clinical information technology in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings. Are you ready to take the next step in your career?

The Hospital Clinical Informaticist will join a tight-knit, rural 100-bed community hospital. This facility is fully accredited through the Joint Commission and has received Golden Seals of approval for their hip and knee replacement programs. They are also accredited by the Commission on Cancer and recently completed a hospital expansion to include a brand new Health and Wellness center and a state of the art Medical Pavilion, the likes of which are normally found only in large metropolitan cities- all in rural Ohio!

The Hospital Clinical Informaticist will coordinate closely with hospital department heads in order to assess training needs and provide support to effectively integrate and optimize computer applications into routine patient workflow. This individual will also participate in the design and development of software applications and training programs for individual classes.

The ideal Clinical Informaticist will have experience with In-depth, hands-on knowledge of healthcare systems and software applications. This individual will also have proven troubleshooting experience and an ability to interpret and teach technical documentation to end users. Finally, the CI specialist will have a customer service mentality and be able to liaise with a diverse group of hospital employees.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program + 1 year working experience as a nurse

• 2 years in the Informatics Field
  • -or-

• Comparable degree/ certificate in Information Systems
