We are seeking a Hospital Division Accountant to join our team!
Responsible for supporting the financial operations with the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and analyses relating to the financial statements and operations of the assigned hospitals.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field of study required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum two (2) years of previous accounting work experience required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum two years of accounting experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of preparation of financial statements, journal entries and accounting systems preferred. Knowledge of the rules of GAAP preferred.
- Exemplifies Standards of Behavior. Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
