Job Description

The Hospital Account Executive enhances and promotes Concierge Homecare mission through outreach and education programs to predominantly Hospital healthcare professionals, facilities, organizations and other health care consumers in order to provide quality, safe and cost-effective post-hospital nursing and therapy home health care services to seniors. This position is a performance-based health care sales position and is responsible for generating business and meeting targets from an assigned territory and interacting in the community to promote company services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or demonstrated experience that serves as equivalent.
  • Hospital Healthcare Experience and/or Sales experience calling on Hospital healthcare professionals is ideal.
  • Home health or health care background preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, co- workers and other health care professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes, grows and maintains Customer relationships to increase and maintain sales revenue of Concierge Homecare’s post-Hospital care services.
  • Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the community, health care facilities and referral sources appropriate for post-Hospital Concierge Homecare services.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with C-suite professionals, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, discharge planners, case managers, social workers and other health care professionals involved in home health care coordination by regularly conducting visits to referral sources in order to assist in identifying appropriate patients that may benefit from home health care services specific to post-Hospital care needs.
  • Understands the reimbursement process as they relate to the delivery of services to the patients of Concierge Homecare as well as criteria for acceptance of patients, admission requirements and services provided.
  • Facilitates care coordination and collaboration of patients’ care between Concierge Home care and referral sources.
  • Performs an ongoing market analysis to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participates in the strategic planning process of the agency/ market and the development of budget goals for admissions and clients served.
  • Assess and identifies other opportunities to increase service capabilities with other payer or referral sources.
  • Presents as a positive image and acts as a role model for Concierge Homecare.
  • Represents Concierge Homecare at health care fairs and other civic or community service functions accordingly.
  • Participates with other agency managers to arrange and coordinate special community events such as open house, holiday events, sponsorships, etc.
  • Actively participates in data collection related to Business Development and Performance Improvement activities.
  • Assists Intake Department, Director of Clinical Services and Clinical Managers with any referral concerns and issues.
  • Assists the Director of Clinical Services in establishing targets and goals for development of all service lines in the market.
  • Attends Sales meetings and other required education and in- services regularly.
  • Supports the goal of Performance Improvement by making pertinent suggestions that will improve efficiency of patient care, contain costs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently produces measurable results, meets expected target goals and identifies new business opportunities for Concierge Homecare.
  • Supports Concierge Homecare Corporate Compliance program.
  • Maintains and secures all patients’ protected health information.
  • Ensures compliance and stays current with required regulations related to coverage, trends and other industry changes.
  • Participates in other duties as assigned.

Work Environments & Physical Demands of the Job

Travels to/ from hospitals, physician’s practices, outpatient surgery centers, facilities, other community agencies; occasionally works indoors in Agency office.
