POSITION TITLE

Hospitality Recruitment Manager

DESCRIPTION

Summit Management Corporation is seeking an experienced Hospitality Recruitment Manager to oversee a continuously growing hotel portfolio in the Southeast. The purpose of this position is to perform full cycle recruiting by identifying and engaging with a high caliber and diverse workforce to supply the hotel group with a slate of high-quality candidates. The ideal applicant will be experienced in talent acquisition across all levels of the hotel workforce, intrinsically motivated, professional, and enjoy working in a remote environment ideally based in Atlanta, Nashville, or Memphis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and fulfill open roles based on the needs of the hotel
  • Review resume and application information, coordinate interviews, complete background and reference checks and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, and salary expectation
  • Use competitive intelligence and industry knowledge to develop recruiting strategies as well as research and identify new recruiting channels
  • Report and analyze results of recruiting processes and sources
  • Develop relationships with vocational sites for hospitality professionals
  • Attend recruiting events to connect with qualified job seekers
  • Plan job fairs at the hotel level
  • Employ innovative sourcing channels to locate talent including social media, resume mining, diversity resources, and networking

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field directly related to the position or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three years of hospitality / talent acquisition experience developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans as well as interviewing and hiring manager and team member roles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and results oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and work as a team player
  • In-depth understanding of the hospitality industry workforce
  • Remote position with ability to travel 20% of the time
