JOB TITLE:

HOUSEKEEPING ROOM ATTENDANT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mountain Lodge services is currently seeking individuals who are detail oriented and dedicated to join our team. We strive for our room attendants to do their best to be motivated and provide top services to our guests so that they have the best quality experience during their vacation with us.All job duties are performed in one location; you will not be subjected to weather. We have our own parking lot; employees can park onsite, no shuttling or walking. We are under new management! Our work environment is laid back, relaxed and fun! We like to keep the atmosphere light and fun while getting the job done.

DUTIES:

• Fully clean and set up condos
• Make the beds with clean linens
• Hang clean towels and wash clothes in the bathrooms
• Clean & disinfect bathroom & replenish the amenities supplied in the bathroom area
• Clean & disinfect kitchen/living room area; replenish amenities supplied in the kitchen area
• Sweep & mop floors; sometimes this requires being on your hands and knees
• Dust all furniture
• Identify & report any damages &/or maintenance issues to your supervisor
• Vacuum all carpets
• Turn any lost & found items into the housekeeping manager(s)
• Make sure all rooms that are needs for the day & all mid-stay maid services assigned for the day are clean and tidy by the end of your shift
• Correct any issue that is found upon inspection by the housekeeping supervisor
• Clearly & politely communicate with any guest while doing a mid-stay maid service
• Occasionally lend a helping hand to our custodial staff to get the common areas clean and tidy
• Stock the maid cart with all necessary supplies to ensure the condos are cleaned to the best of your abilities
• Follow all of the Mountain Lodge guidelines set forth by the housekeeping manager(s)
• Work together as a team with all of Mountain Lodge staff to ensure the guests have the best possible experience while staying with us

REQUIREMENTS:

No prior experience needed as we will train you. You must be able to lift, pull and push a significant amount of weight. Must be able to bend and stoop easily. Safely use industrial cleaners and equipment. Be flexible with your schedules to include working weekends (at least rotate working weekends). Work well with other members of the Mountain Lodge team in every department. Mountain Lodge is a team and must work together in unity to operate successfully!
