The Buccaneer Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel and providing guests with quality housekeeping service in a timely and friendly manner. The Houseperson also aids the Housekeeping department by transporting linens and supplies to rooms and performs some maintenance restoration around the property.
Main Duties:
- Clean and maintain the appearance of public areas and rooms of the hotel.
- Vacuum, buff, and polish floors of guest rooms and public areas.
- Deep cleaning of assigned areas as needed.
- Restocking housekeeping stations.
- Delivering service items to guest rooms to housekeeping staff and upon request by management.
- Performing minor maintenance repairs around the hotel.
- Landscaping exterior areas of rooms using lawn tools (hedge trimmer, weedwhacker, etc.)
- May assist other departments with moving of equipment or supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
