SUMMARY:
The housekeepers provide and maintain the cleanliness throughout the venue as well as keeping the environment safe and hazard free for the entertainers, guests, patrons and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work flexible schedule based on events, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to follow basic instruction and direction
- Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines
- Experience in public facility preferred
- Demonstrated self-starter
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform general labor as assigned
- Perform daily check lists
- Use mops, broom, shovels, scrapers throughout daily tasks
- Walks and reports information from daily cleaning checklists throughout the facility
- Operates buffers/burnishers, rider sweepers/scrubbers, walk behind scrubbers, blowers, vacuums etc.
- Handle folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery and skirting as needed
- Knowledge and ability to safely handle various types of cleaning chemicals
- Perform other duties as assigned'
