Full Job Description
The Homewood Suites by Hilton Philadelphia is looking for energetic and motivated individual for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor. Our hotel operates 24/7. This is a fast paced, high demand job. We are looking for someone who can MULTITASK and ‘gets the job done’ with a smile. This position will require holidays, day and evening and overnight shifts as well as shifts on weekends (Sundays are required) and during inclement weather Reliable transportation is required to get you to and from work.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises the of work activities of housekeeping staff under the direction of the hotel management staff.
- Acts as the Executive Housekeeping Manager in His/Her absence
- Directs housekeeping program of hotel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions
- Works with/in laundry to ensure linen and terry is available
- Provides training, including safety training and standard operating procedures to all personnel as directed by the hotel management staff
- Ensures adherence to company quality standards by inspecting rooms, including deep cleans
- Distributes keys and work assignments to staff
- Addresses guest complaints regarding service or equipment
- Assists management staff of hotel in assuring staff is practicing efficient and effective procedures
- Monitors hotel guest supply inventory
- Reports any maintenance repairs to maintenance staff; records repair information in maintenance log
- Completes follow-up on vacant or occupied rooms
- Assumes functions of Housekeeper as necessary
- Monitoring the cleanliness of food & beverage area during service hours
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/and or move up to 50 pounds.
- All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

- Hotel Cleaning: 1 year (Required)
