We are looking to add to our Housekeeping Supervisor team! We are a newer upscale hotel in the heart of Shelby Twp, located right off M53 and 23 Mile. We have 98 rooms- primarily King rooms, Double Queen rooms, and 3 Suites. Our hotel also offers a business center, meeting space, a 24 hour market, fitness center, and indoor pool. We also have our own in house upscale restaurant, Verona Inspired Italian. We are looking for an exceptional leader to assist in development and daily oversight of our housekeeping department. Our hotel has a reputation of being the cleanest in the city in addition to earning recognition Top 5 recognition of Cleanliness Scores out of all Cambria Hotels nationwide! Previous experience and qualifications we are looking for:

• Hotel experience
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience
• Ability to work 8-10 hours on your feet
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Open availability is required for this position including weekends, holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic
• Professional and upbeat demeanor
• Excellent standards for guest relations and hospitality
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience as a trainer, supervisor, or manager

What your average work day will look like:

• Morning/afternoon shifts. Our days begin at 8:30am
• Oversight of Laundry and Housekeeping department
• Assigning room boards to housekeeping team
• Training and developing new and existing team members
• Assisting with schedule writing, attendance tracking, supply inventory and ordering
• Participating in housekeeping duties along side your team
• Checking rooms upon completion, ensuring they are guest ready and meet Cambria Hotel standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
