$119,145.00/yr minimum - $178,719.00/yr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

The Talent Acquisition Leader develops and implements a Talent Acquisition strategy that allows the organization to recruit top talent as well as create a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. The leader is responsible for designing, developing and implementing processes, tools and metrics that enable the recruitment of high performing talent. The leader actively drives the candidate sourcing and recruitment process and manages the hiring process from building talent pipelines through job requisition, candidate evaluation, offer, and acceptance. The leader guides the recruiting team in executing creative talent acquisition programs that address immediate and long-term talent needs. The Talent Acquisition Leader is responsible for evaluating the entire recruiting function of the organization and continually finding opportunities for improvement. The leader partners with HR leaders and business leaders to ensure timely understanding of the organization’s current and future talent needs and related recruiting demands. The leader ensures compliance with EEO and AAP requirements.

Responsibilities

Safety

  • Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.

Record Keeping

  • Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required, including but not limited to payroll, schedules and status changes.

Department Management

  • Maintains 24 hour accountability for department, making independent decisions to implement strategies and programs for patient care.
  • Delegates authority and accountability to staff to ensure optimal outcomes and staff engagement.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of unit/department based programs and processes to ensure optimal outcomes.

Process Improvement

  • Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishing unit/department based programs that supports the system & process improvement goals.
  • Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams.

Staffing

  • Manages the unit/department effectively in regards to staffing and staff supervision.
  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract and deliver top quality talent at all levels to meet talent needs in a timely and consistent fashion.

Role Specific Resposibilities

  • Build credible, trusted relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HRBPs to understand their hiring and business needs, challenges and business objectives.
  • Develop sourcing strategies through a variety of channels including the use of social media platforms, employee referral program, networking and unique opportunities/events, building a pipeline of diversified talent.
  • Introduce innovative hiring methodologies and identify unique and non-traditional sources for attracting high quality candidates and building a pipeline for future skill sets and competencies.
  • Remain engaged and aware of evolving business priorities and recommend changes to recruiting process to align with priorities. Serve as trusted advisor, knowledgeable of best practices and trends around recruiting.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop creative solutions to improve the onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Develop and implement interviewing strategies (i.e. behavioral based, peer interviewing, etc.). Ensure hiring managers and interview panels are fully prepared for the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally.
  • Create community relationships/partnerships to promote SIH as employer of choice. Partner with area colleges and universities to ensure feeder pools are available. Build the SIH Employment Brand in the talent marketplace.
  • Expand diversity outreach: Implements and supports diversity recruiting efforts and participates in diversity recruiting events and activities. Understand the affirmative action goals for the organization and initiate programs that attract candidates to meet those objectives.
  • Partner with Talent Management team to conduct workforce planning, identify and analyze current and future talent trends and develop recruiting strategies to support short-term and long-term hiring plans.
  • Partner with Occupational Health to ensure activities including health assessments, drug and alcohol screening, exposure follow-up, immunizations, and other related activities are in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Make decisions on new systems, system enhancements and/or tools in place to run at peak performance and deliver accurate and on-time metrics & insight to meet needs of the organization and the candidates.
  • Establish, produce, track and analyze key talent acquisition processes and metrics to monitor and improve performance.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Proactively develop talent acquisition team: coach, advise, hold accountable and effectively manage all team members. Establish goals and expectations for team and monitor performance against these goals.
  • Oversee compliance to all regulations that impact the hiring and selection process including Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1 reporting, and Vets-100 reporting.
  • Prepare department operating budgets on an annual basis and monitors areas of responsibility for compliance within current budget.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in HR, Business or related field required
