MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties of this position fall into four main categories:
SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
  • Participate and assist with ongoing Workday implementation, optimization, and adoption
  • Provide production support for the Workday platform and its integration points with other software and modules; coordinate with IT to ensure efficient integration with other systems
  • Ensure business processes are maintained in a non-disruptive manner
  • Conduct ongoing system optimization efforts and regression testing for new releases
  • Modify workflow changes and functionality and add users to Workday
  • Execute testing to meet business requirements; create test plans, perform system testing; obtain user acceptance testing sign-off from Sponsors; conduct unit testing and provide production support on an ongoing basis
  • Coordinate and provide support for end-user testing
  • Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements; review workflow and validation rule changes for effected business processes
  • Support configuration and troubleshooting of business processes
  • Serve as troubleshooting resource and work with the various vendors to resolve complex systems issues
  • Work with the various HR system vendors to develop and maintain systems road maps and upgrade schedules
USER SUPPORT & TRAINING
  • Identify areas for improvement within the system and research system functionality/trends
  • Provide end user support for Workday, including researching and resolving complex Workday problems, unexpected results, or process issues
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines, documentation, and training materials for the Workday platform, conduct end-user training
  • Identify additional areas of training, best practice methods for achieving optimal effectiveness and automation that will streamline operations
  • Actively participate in the Workday Community, training, and regional user groups to ensure awareness of current trends and innovation
DATA MANAGEMENT
  • Load, manipulate, audit, and report on data and make complex mass changes or other direct data updates to data
  • Administer custom role-based, user-based, and Workday-delivered security groups
  • Maintain master data values in Workday (ex: Job Profile, Job Family, Job Group, Roles, Custom Organization Types, Positions, and Locations)
REPORTING
  • Partner with business leads in HR (Business Partners, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to understand and document reporting and dashboard requirements; develop and maintain HR and other business reporting analytics and dashboards
  • Create and maintain complex custom Workday reports ; deliver regular and ad-hoc reports as required
  • Collect and analyze critical program data for HR processes and programs using queries from Workday
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two years of experience supporting Workday functionality in at least one Workday module - HCM, Recruiting, or Learning
  • Experience with Workday report writing, EIBs, and calculated fields
  • Experience with Workday configuration and testing is desirable
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills; ability to organize and represent concepts in presentations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Customer focused with proven ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and balance multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office tools with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with all levels and communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users
  • Problem solving skills as seen through the ability to apply systems/workflow thinking to solve business issues within HR practices
  • Experience interpreting data and presenting information and findings

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000
