Job Summary
The HRIS Workday Analyst will serve as a technical point of contact between IT and our internal business service areas. They will help HR and other leaders define and execute their strategies. The position is responsible for design, development, and testing of NorthStar’s Workday environment. The Workday Analyst will spend the majority of their time providing technical support, hands on support, and resolve tickets in the ticket tracking system.

What you will do in this role
  • Drive solutions and recommend best practices related to Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Learning, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Security, and Reporting.
  • Assist users with issues related to the NorthStar Workday environment specifically Time Tracking and Payroll.
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies and execute optimization projects.
  • Implement enhancements and new features in Workday as directed from discovery to deployment.
  • Assist users with Workday security setup and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical support and testing of Workday requests and solutions as required by our HR and user base.
  • Ability to coordinate various projects, support, and other activities among the various service areas at NorthStar.
  • Ability to translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
What qualifications you will need
  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer sciences, or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years Workday analyst type experience.
  • Experience building and troubleshooting specifically with Workday Time Tracking and Payroll.
  • HR Functional and system experience preferred.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • 2 plus years’ experience working in a help desk role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
