Rivera On-Point Logistics, LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for a highly detailed and self-sufficient Human Resource Generalist. DSPs are independent businesses that partner with Amazon to deliver packages. The Human Resource Generalist will be solely responsible for all HR-related tasks, including onboarding and training, payroll, FMLA paperwork, workers comp claims handling, and employee engagement initiatives. In-person regular attendance at the delivery station is required; however, remote work may be available during off-peak seasons. The salary for this role is $60-70k, depending on experience.

The approximate on-site hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday-Friday; however, occasional weekend attendance may be required.

Requirements of the Human Resources Generalist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or a related field
  • 2+ years' experience in HR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, teams, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to be self-direct and self-motivated, adhering to all required deadlines.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor

Responsibilities of the Human Resource Generalist

  • Create and manage job postings
  • Recruit, source, and screen candidates for front-line positions.
  • Provides current and prospective team members with information about policies, roles and responsibilities, working conditions, wages, and other work-related information.
  • Onboard and train new employees
  • Maintain relationships with benefit providers and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to all employees regarding benefits administration.
  • Manage the benefits enrollment process for new employees
  • Create and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Advises team members on organizational policy matters and makes recommendations related to applicable laws as needed.
  • Addresses any employment relations issues, such as work complaints, grievances, and harassment allegations.
  • Manage and execute payroll and track financials
  • Process separations and conduct exit interviews.
  • Additional HR duties as necessary

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
