Singer Equipment Company, Inc Elverson, PA 19520

Reporting to the Organizational Development Manager, this role will provide operational and administrative support for the Human Resources department, including administrative support for benefits and working to ensure human resources functions are effectively executed across the Company and its subsidiaries. This position is an office-based position in Elverson, Pennsylvania with the option for hybrid work two days a week if desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefit programs, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life, accident & disability insurance, and voluntary plans for the organization.
  • Administer life event enrollments and collect necessary documentation.
  • Audit and process monthly benefit invoices.
  • Assist with open enrollment processes.
  • Manage department filing and record-keeping.
  • Prepare expense reports and make travel arrangements.
  • Conduct annual employee background screening required.
  • Assist in the compilation of required data for HR dashboard, analytics and other date reporting requirements.
  • Conduct benefit presentations for new employees.
  • Assists with verifications of employment and other relevant HR correspondence.
  • Maintain and update various databases and reports that are significant to key stakeholders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to HR as needed, other assigned duties as requested.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced MS Office skills required
  • Interest and enthusiasm for ongoing learning of HR concepts
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment regarding sensitive employee issues and information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly

  • Willingness to positively take on tasks that lead to increased department optimization
  • Willing to travel to various work-sites occasionally to conduct HR activities as needed
