Job Description Summary
Unique opportunity for an experienced individual with analyst level knowledge to join the Redstone Federal Credit Union family on the Human Resources Department.
Selected individual will perform a range of specialized functions by preparing, processing and coordinating a variety of Human Resources duties. Assists with examining Human Resources operations and adhering to rules and regulations. Provides information and guidance to internal and external customers.
This is an on-site position.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administers the performance review process; reviews ratings to ensure they are fair, accurate and documented; ensures pay increases are calculated and processed in accordance with the salary administration structure; provides ongoing education to management.
  • Administers the Educational Assistance Program; processes applications for approval/denial, advises employees on program benefits and procedures, evaluates required documentation for reimbursement processing and ensures reimbursements are handled in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Administers FMLA; conducts appointments, ensures required paperwork is received and accurately processed; performs leave status updates in HR software; completes and/or provides timecard guidance to management; tracks all FMLA leave, including intermittent FMLA, notifying employees when recertification’s are necessary; completes necessary benefit paperwork and ensures proper releases are received prior to employees return to work.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or a closely related field.
  • Three years experience in Human Resources.
