Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join our HR team in downtown Tacoma. (This is a 6 month temporary position that has potential to be permanent.

Function: Serves as program assistant to the Human Resources team and to HR Director. Assists in coordinating all necessary human resources services for the agency. Services as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

Job Details:

• Maintain current HR files and databases.
• Conduct new hire orientations.
• Ensure background and reference checks are completed.
• Prepare new employee files.
• Create and distribute documents, collect signatures as needed.
• Provide customer service to organization employees.
• Data entry and filing.
• Credential and training tracking.
• Assisting with implementation and usage of new HR platform/database.
• Provides administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information: organizing work; answering the telephone, relaying messages; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• All new hires will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• High school graduate or GED.
• One year experience preferred; not required.
