Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in higher education or not-for-profit organization.
Previous experience working with Ellucian Banner, PeopleAdmin, or as a lead representative/liaison between software vendors and department would be a plus.

Job Specific Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar field.
Ability to master enterprise applications, applicant tracking systems, database report writing software, and other HRIS applications.
Ability to use software tools to enhance the end user experience and improve HR processes through automation.
Proficient with all Google business applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive, etc).
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated excellent writing skills.

HRIS: Responsible for the support of all human resources information systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration); these systems currently include: Ellucian Banner, PeopleAdmin, OrgChart Now, Argos Enterprise Reporting, and Vector LMS. Responsible for ensuring that applications integrate into existing and planned infrastructure. Recommending and leading process changes where appropriate. Responsible for the integrity of all HR data, as well as ensuring the department website is up to date. Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors.

Recruitment: Lead staffing and recruitment functions for all regular position openings. This includes, communicating and coordinating with hiring managers, administrative assistants, and search committee members to update job descriptions, post positions, review applicants, and prepare hiring proposals; placing advertisements in newspapers, periodicals, and online sources; administering the formal offer; conducting or coordinating background checks; administering employment documents; as well as creating and maintaining all electronic search documents and records.

General Support: Support other human resource functions, as needed, including: Working with the Director (or designee), take a lead role in coordinating the Home Purchase Assistance Program, Tuition Exchange Program, and completing institutional surveys. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
