Human Resources Director Job at City of Dodge City
The position is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department; facilitating the hiring process and integration of new employees; working closely with all departments in a consultancy role; assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures; researching and developing policies and procedures; interpreting and advising on employment legislation; expanding existing programs and conducting disciplinary investigations. This position is not responsible for payroll and work is done in a union free environment.
Position requires education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related field plus a minimum of three years Human Resources management and progressive city government experience. IPMA membership preferred. A valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,610.37 - $108,181.69 per year
