OVERVIEW:

At Harvey Performance the HR Manager provides Human Resources support and guidance to the organization in all aspects of the Human Resources function. The HR Manager will provide HR support to the manufacturing sites to drive key business initiatives and be a critical participant in other key HR and organizational initiatives.


POSITION DETAILS:

As an HR Manager, you will:

  • Utilize HR expertise to provide site leaders with information to help drive site towards meeting its goals
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to support continual improvement. Acts as agent of change within the sites.
  • Coordinates with site management team to develop a high performing site leadership team and engaging with leaders of all levels.
  • Partners with site leaders to support and/or escalate employee relations issues.
  • Supports the site leaders to manage annual HR cycles such as performance management and open enrollment.
  • Promotes a culture of safety at the sites and supports safety initiatives.
  • Provides support and knowledge in companywide HR projects and meetings which may include compensation analysis, DEI initiatives, learning and development, and more.
  • Explores and recommends, as needed, creative alternatives to current HR practices to pursue continual improvements.
  • Leverages human resource data to understand trends and partner in developing solutions, as well as proactively bring trends / issues to the surface.
  • Responsible for creating content and delivering relevant site wide employee trainings, as needed.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources. Experience in compensation, DEI, and/or learning & development preferred.
  • Must have worked for a rapidly growing company and ideally have experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to be persuasive, tactful, have discretion, and a working knowledge of benefits, policies and procedures.
  • Must have up to date knowledge of Human Resources legal requirements and their application in the work environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaborate with employees at all levels in many different teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and other applicable applications.
  • Travel required.
