About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Regional Human Resources Business Partner to join our US Americas HR Team in Flagstaff, Arizona. In this challenging and dynamic role, you will act as a coach and consultant to leaders and sponsors in the execution of Gore’s core people processes and practices. With a good understanding of Enterprise and divisional business strategies you will be viewed as a trusted partner, supporting leaders to develop their own skills across associate development, performance, change management, team development and conflict resolution. In addition, you will engage in and drive priority US HR projects.

This position will be located at our facility in Flagstaff, Arizona, with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

Responsibilities:

  • Partner to help leaders enhance associate engagement
  • Support leaders to implement business and functional strategies
  • Model and teach our culture by coaching our leadership practices
  • Provide HR expertise across compliance, HR processes, change management, team and individual performance and associate development
  • Diagnose associate relations needs to root cause, drawing conclusions and influencing leaders to take proposed actions
  • Collaborate to deliver work across a global community of business and functional HR practitioners
  • As part of the US HR Services team, engage with both business and Enterprise HR teams to provide the right HR expertise at the right time to add value
  • Engage and lead high priority projects with specialist expertise

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience either as an HR Business Partner or in a Generalist HR role
  • Experience of delivering work through effective collaboration with diverse teams across a virtual and matrixed HR environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
  • Experience in facilitating groups, projects and meetings including conflict resolution
  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
  • Skilled in being able to effectively challenge, influence and build collaborative relationships, to exemplify direct, open, honest behaviors, and to influence these qualities in others
  • Flexibility to undertake travel between Western Cluster facilities as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to apply HR tools and processes to enhance business outcomes
  • Ability to apply mature thinking and good judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
