Human Resources Specialist Job at Innovative Staff Solutions, Inc.
Innovative Staff Solutions has a direct hire opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist with our client in Owensboro, KY who is a global full-service auto manufacturer! This is a permanent, direct placement opportunity in a salaried position with benefits, working 1st shift (8am – 5pm), and is overtime eligible.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate benefits program and assist Team Members with questions concerning company benefits
- Aid Team Members, Team Leaders and Group Leaders in solving work-related problems
- Assist with staffing hourly and salary positions
- Participate in new Team Member orientation
- Monitor progress of new Team Members
- Perform exit interviews
- Assist with company activities (i.e. picnics, company newsletters), as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Assistant Manager
Requirements
- Proficient personal computer and system software skills. ADP is a plus
- Leadership (team development, ability to influence, organizational awareness)
- Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork, conflict resolution, customer orientation)
- Communication (verbal communication, listening, written communication)
- Judgment and thinking (strategic thinking, original thinking, judgment and decision making, problem solving, awareness)
- Performance skills (accuracy with details, planning and organizing, efficiency)
- Personal characteristics (motivation/commitment, flexibility, assertiveness)
- Hours: 2nd shift hours will primarily be 4pm to 1 am
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management or Human Resources preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in human resources or professional office experience. Education may be considered in leu of experience
