JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Hybrid Cloud Technician for one of our largest Medical Device clients for a direct-hire opportunity. The position does require 80% onsite presence to their headquarters in Versailles, OH or their sub-campus in Dayton, OH . This person would help to Identify, research, and resolve technical issues of moderate to advanced complexity as related to the enterprise's products. They will help accurately document service requests and escalate to the next level of support (i.e., engineering, quality, product management) where applicable within a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:
  • Provides advanced technical support for the company's Connected Products and Solutions, including Microsoft Azure, Thingworx, the company's Portal, the company's Installation App, Web API's, etc.
  • Creates and manages technical documentation within a knowledge base for all connected software solutions (Installation Guides, Troubleshooting Guides, Scope of Work, etc.)
  • Acts as technical escalation for Cloud Based and Networking Technologies
  • Remotely troubleshoots and resolves cloud computing platform issues
  • Troubleshoots moderate to advanced complexity software/hardware issues with internal and external customers via phone, email, chat, and remote assist software
  • Troubleshoots moderate to advanced complexity Windows operating system and network communications issue
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup
  • Installs and tests software upgrades
  • Monitors and supports the solutions, packages, or programs after implementation


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVES:
  • 3-5 years of relative experience in IT
  • 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting/working in a cloud or a cloud degree with no professional experience
  • Intermediate level understanding of Web Services or API Messaging
  • Ticketing experience (Oracle Service ++)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle and PLM Agile ++)
  • Experience working with FDA regulated products preferred
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification
  • CompTIA Cloud+ Certification
  • Azure Fundamentals
  • Experience in a customer facing role for either technical software implementations, project management, or IT in the software, healthcare or consulting industries
