Industrial Janitor Job at Staffworks Group
Staffworks Group is hiring for an Industrial Janitor/ Maintenance for our client in Erie, MI. Our client provides technologies that increase production, protect valuable products, and eliminate touches through automation.
Weekly Pay, PTO, Benefits
Starting Pay Rate: $15 an hour
1st Shift: 6 am – 2:30 pm
Monday – Friday
Job Functions:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures such as greasing overhead cranes and paint bay exhaust fans.
- Perform routine grounds maintenance such as upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and parking lot.
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary
- Complete daily forklift checks
- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies ·
- Adhere to all EPA and OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Requirements ·
- High school diploma/GED required
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snowblowers, lawnmowers, and small hand tools
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Able to work well with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
