MECHANIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor the plant maintenance mechanics are responsible to ensure NO DOWN TIME in our poultry processing plant located in Sanger, CA. Areas of responsibility will include live hang/slaughter, evisceration, De-Bone, breast fillet. Work on conveyor belts, PLCs, electrical system, read blue prints and drawings, work with Ammonia and boiler systems, conduct PMs. Work in confined spaces, extreme temperatures and work well in a fast pace environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

· Must have full availability as schedules may change and/or rotate.

· Prefer a minimum of three (3) years industrial maintenance experience OR completion of an Industrial Maintenance course with certificate of completion.

· Must have experience with electrical and mechanical schematics.

· Must be familiar working with pumps, electrical controls, conveyors, PLC.

COMPENSATION:
The company offers medical, vision, and dental benefits; paid vacation; Sick time after one year; Holiday pay. Salary is based on experience.

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
