Experienced Infant/Toddler Teacher - Grovetown, GA needed. Competitive salary offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay rate commensurate with education and experience.

$12.50 - $14.00

About Us:

We are a full-time, year-round learning environment for children ages six weeks to five years. We are a family owned and operated preschool, with the owner onsite daily. We are a non-denominational Christian-based center that will utilize bible stories and songs as part of our curriculum program.

Duties:

• Creates and implements developmentally appropriate, weekly lesson plans and submits them to management for review.
• Assists children in all areas of their daily schedule (art, literature, music, physical activity, etc.) while protecting them from physical and/or emotional harm.
• Maintains a clean and safe classroom environment as well as a safe playground.
• Assists with the personal care and hygiene of all children, and if applicable, follow state guidelines for appropriate diaper changing of children.
• Maintains open and positive communication with children's parents/guardians.

Additional Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of experience working in a Georgia-licensed childcare facility is preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA), Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC), Technical College Diploma (TCD), or associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development required.
• At least 18 years old
• Certified in Child/Infant CPR, First Aid, and Fire Safety preferred
• Successfully passing State and Federal criminal background checks (fingerprints required)
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, etc. for several hours per shift
• Must be able to work any shift Monday - Friday, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
