I. Position Overview:

a. Veracity Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician. This position will provide management and support for corporate IT hardware & software to include, inventory management, asset tracking, asset deployment, software & license management, and asset disposal. Additionally, on-the-job training will be provided for further growth in Tier III responsibilities.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

a. Provides remote and onsite help desk and other related support, displaying excellent customer service skills.

b. Works under the supervision of senior level staff to determine and resolve problems.

c. Maintains and updates documentation for assigned projects and systems.

d. Responsible for maintaining the asset management process, manage and inventory hardware as it comes in and out of operations.

e. Responsible for our on/offboarding IT processes such as creating and terminating accounts.

f. Responsible for maintaining and providing support for onsite conference rooms for Veracity employees as well as guests.

III. Requirements:

Education:

· High school, relevant IT certs preferred

. College degree in Computer Science will be an additional plus

Experience:

· 2 years of experience in IT field

Skills:

· Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel.

· Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, peripherals, and related hardware and software.

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and tickets.

· Ability to troubleshoot and solve unfamiliar problems.

· Willing and able to learn additional IT skills beyond those included in this position.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:

This position is performed in a traditional office environment.
