The Job Squad is currently looking for a Certified Medical Inpatient Coder to work at a company remotely. Our client is one of the largest Hospital Health Groups in Florida. We are assisting their RCM department with hiring REMOTE inpatient medical coders that can work from a queue of medical records to properly code for accurate claims processing and data collection to optimize APC, ASC or DRG reimbursement and facilitate data quality in hospital inpatient services ensuring regulatory compliance.

In this role you will monitor and review daily audits of coded inpatient medical records to validate principal and secondary diagnosis (DRG or APC), medical necessity in accordance with regulatory coding guidelines with 98% accuracy rate. Perform and monitor daily audits of abstracted data, i.e.: discharge disposition, surgeon, POA, etc. reported to the state and federal agencies for local and national data comparisons in accordance with regulatory guidelines with 98% accuracy rate.
