Inside Account Manager

$18-$25 an hour + Bonus Potential

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Inside Account Manager to join our NEW sales team. This is a new ground breaking department in a 100+ year old SUCCESSFUL company; that YOU will help shape the future of.

The Inside Account Manager will be responsible for working with existing accounts, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process, in anything Account Management Related. You should be able to close sales and meet targets while helping the customer with any and all needs.

To be successful as an Inside Account Manager you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction. A top Inside Account Manager should also be very competitive and a good listener.

Inside Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers, and following up with current assigned accounts.
  • Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
  • Creating and maintaining a CRM database of current accounts.
  • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
  • Staying informed about competing products and services.
  • Upselling products and services.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Cross Selling & Upselling Ability
  • Product Placement/Merchandising assistance to assigned accounts
  • High Volume/High Quality outbound dialing
  • 10 days a year travel to trade shows with team

Inside Sales Representative Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Ability to achieve targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
