Inside Sales Account Executive, Lab Job at VSP Global

VSP Global Remote

With moderate supervision, work with new and existing VSP doctors to generate incremental sales for the Optical Lab. Manage relationships with and satisfy expectations of all VSP doctors.
Establish and build solid business relationships with VSP doctors.

Initiate communication with and respond to inquiries from practices regarding pricing, product information, and policies of the Sacramento lab.

Generate sales volume from VSP doctor practices within a specified geographical territory.

As assigned, monitor specified types of accounts to ensure requirements are being met.

With assistance, monitor accounts to identify potential issues. Gather and analyze data to offer alternative solutions within established processes to resolve identified problems while continuing to meet customer expectations.

Maintain current working knowledge of VSP Lab systems, products, sales strategies and marketing opportunities. Identify opportunities and recommend changes for improvements.

Utilize sales automation and order entry systems to make inquiries, maintain records and prepare reports.

Escalate issues to the appropriate level when necessary.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:

One to two years sales or account management experience or equivalent

Two years experience in a business setting, demonstrating proven quality customer service skills

Knowledge of Ophthalmic lens and the Optical Industry

Strong organizational skills

Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills

Familiarity with PC applications

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
