Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative - Building Supplies

• 
  Work with construction contractors to process their building supply orders
• Specialize in Decking, Railing, Fencing & Siding
• Meet with walk-in customers at our showroom and process orders over the phone & via email
• Generate quotes and be responsible for following up on them
• Write up Orders
• Process Payments (Check, Cash, and Credit Card)
• Answer questions about our products
• Follow up with customers when a special-order product is ready for pick up
• Complete material takeoffs from drawings
• Fulltime position with overtime available during the busy season (Saturday morning rotation in the summer)

Homestead Outdoor Products, a fencing, railing, siding, and decking materials supplier, is looking for a Full-Time Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative. Our Inside Sales Rep is critical in building solid relationships with repeat customers. We are a team who is lighthearted and enjoy our work.

Our Ideal Inside Sales & Customer Service Rep:

• Experienced: Knowledge of the construction and/or building supply industry is strongly preferred. Background in sales is helpful, but we are willing to train. Able to complete material takeoffs is a plus.
• Outgoing: Your day will involve processing a lot of incoming calls and walk-in customers. Must be someone who enjoys working with people.
• Sense of Humor: We work hard, but we also have fun and like to laugh.
• Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Drive to do a great job. Eager to help a teammate for the good of all. Treats teammates & customers with care and respect
• Great Communicator: Must communicate effectively & clearly with customers and coworkers in person, on the phone, and via email.
• Detailed: Able to accurately take and process orders
• Computer Skills: Able to learn software (EBMS), use MS Office products, and type efficiently. Familiar with MS Office products.
• Energetic: Able to keep up with a fast-paced position and stay focused on our goals & customer service, even when we're busy.

What We Offer our Inside Sales/Customer Service Rep:

• $20-23/h. Depending on Experience
• Commission Bonus based on sales goals
