Position Overview

Johnstone Supply, The Balsan Group is looking for a high-energy, Inside Sales Representative who is focused on to growing sales in a competitive HVACR market. Candidates must have Daikin VRF knowledge or certificate. Candidates must have attention to detail, a high level of problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. Needs to be proficient with computers and different software and know how to navigate the internet to find products for customers.

Salary

• 50,000.00-75,000.00 per year

Essential Job Functions:

• Supports Sales by providing technical expertise in servicing customers and consulting on technical aspects of products.
• Communicates with Outside Sales team and directly with customers to find accurate information for quotes or sales orders
• Builds Customer relationships with regular contact by email, phone, and on-site visits
• Accurately processes and ensures the complete customer transaction cycle from completing quotes, entering in sales orders, processing returns and warranties, to delivery of product to customers in a timely manner
• Communicates effectively with vendors, other departments, distribution centers, and branch staff to obtain accurate information on product availability, pricing, expected delivery, etc
• Collaborates with vendors to trouble-shoot customers’ technical problems
• Attend HVAC trainings to grow industry and technical knowledge.
• Traveling to other Massachusetts branches

Qualifications:

• Previous experience within the HVAC or building supplies industry required
• Knowledge of HVAC commercial equipment and quoting products/equipment preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and have attention to detail
• Customer service minded
• Must be able to use a computer, common software systems and web-based applications

Work Environment: Most work is performed in a warehouse environment without air conditioning, which may include hot and cold temperatures, dust, dirt, and noise.
